Challenging myself
My LJ is lacking in posts that do not have to deal with stress, work, depression, or other SRS BZNS. So, I'm going to try something I don't think I've ever done before.
1. Give me the name of a character you know I'm familiar with. I don't necessarily have to know their canon if you know I've roleplayed with them before.
2. Give me a number between 1 and 10.
3. Give me an emotion or a verb.
Do this and I will write you something based on that character. Nothing very long - in fact, the number you give me will determine how long it is. I also can't vouch for quality of characterization if I'm not familiar with the canon. But that's not the point.
The point is to give me a challenge. :3

Hmm... now where did he put his compass...?
Never mind that, there was exploring to be done! The aging elf struck off into the forest, a spring in his step that defied his years. Something rustled in the undergrowth just a few feet behind him, but instead of turning back to see what it was, he just smiled to himself.
Jak may not have been of his blood, but his spirit was definitely kin.
